1. About Dust Off

Dust Off is a mobile archaeology game developed and published by bektasing.

The game can be played without creating an account with an email address or password. Online leaderboard functionality uses an anonymous account provided through Supabase.

2. Information We Handle

Dust Off is designed to collect and process only the information reasonably necessary to provide its gameplay and leaderboard functionality.

The game may handle the following information:

• Local game data: game progress, unlocked levels, discovered relics, completion records, personal best times, grades, tutorial progress and other gameplay information may be stored locally on your device.
• Preferences: language, music volume, sound effects, haptic feedback and similar settings may be stored locally on your device.
• Anonymous account identifier: when online leaderboard functionality is used, Dust Off uses Supabase Anonymous Authentication to create a unique anonymous user identifier. An email address, password or real name is not required for this process.
• Player nickname: if you choose to use online leaderboards, you may choose a player nickname. Your nickname is stored online and may be visible to other Dust Off players on leaderboard screens.
• Leaderboard data: eligible leaderboard information may include your level identifier, best completion time, relic condition percentage and related timestamps.
• Technical service information: Supabase and its infrastructure providers may process limited technical request information as necessary to operate, protect and secure the online service.

Dust Off does not require your email address, phone number, home address or real name to use its leaderboard features.

3. How We Use Information

Information handled by Dust Off may be used to:

• save and restore game progress;
• remember game settings and preferences;
• provide personal-best and scoring functionality;
• provide progression and relic discovery functionality;
• create and maintain an anonymous leaderboard identity;
• display leaderboard rankings and player nicknames;
• validate and submit eligible leaderboard scores;
• prevent obvious malformed or abusive leaderboard submissions;
• maintain the security, reliability and functionality of the game.

4. Public Leaderboard Information

If you use the online leaderboard, certain information is intentionally visible to other Dust Off players.

This may include:

• your chosen player nickname;
• your leaderboard rank;
• your best eligible completion time;
• the condition value associated with that leaderboard score.

Your Supabase authentication identifier is not intended to be displayed publicly on leaderboard screens.

5. Advertising and Analytics

The current version of Dust Off does not intentionally use an advertising network or a developer-operated analytics service.

If advertising, analytics or additional third-party services are introduced in a future version, this Privacy Policy and the relevant Google Play Data Safety information will be updated as appropriate.

6. Third-Party Services

Dust Off uses Supabase to provide online authentication, database and leaderboard functionality.

Supabase processes data on behalf of Dust Off as an infrastructure and service provider. Information processed through Supabase is subject to Supabase's applicable terms, security practices and privacy documentation.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information.

Information necessary to provide online leaderboard functionality may be processed by Supabase and its infrastructure providers on behalf of Dust Off.

Your chosen nickname and leaderboard performance information may be shown to other Dust Off players as described in the Public Leaderboard Information section above.

We may also disclose information when required by applicable law or when reasonably necessary to protect the security and integrity of the service.

8. Data Storage and Retention

Local Dust Off gameplay information remains stored on your device until it is removed through the game, the application's storage is cleared, or the application is uninstalled, depending on the type of information.

Online leaderboard information, including the anonymous account identifier, nickname and best leaderboard scores, may be stored using Supabase while the leaderboard profile remains active or until the information is deleted.

We retain leaderboard information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide leaderboard functionality, maintain score integrity and comply with applicable legal obligations.

Supabase may retain certain service, security or backup information according to its own applicable retention practices.

9. Data Deletion and Your Choices

You may remove locally stored Dust Off information by clearing the application's storage or uninstalling the application.

Important: uninstalling Dust Off or clearing local app data does not necessarily delete leaderboard information already stored on the server.

Because Dust Off uses anonymous authentication, clearing the application's stored session or moving to another device may also prevent you from accessing the same anonymous leaderboard profile again.

You may change your player nickname through the game's Settings screen where this option is available.

We may ask for information reasonably necessary to identify the relevant anonymous leaderboard profile before completing a deletion request.

10. Children's Privacy

Dust Off does not require players to provide an email address, telephone number, home address or real name for its leaderboard functionality.

Players should not include personal or sensitive information in their nickname.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe that a child has provided personal information through Dust Off, please contact us using the email address below so that we can review and, where appropriate, remove the information.

11. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information handled by Dust Off.

Access to online leaderboard data is restricted through authenticated requests and database access controls. Privileged server credentials are not intended to be included in the public mobile application.

However, no electronic storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

12. International Processing

Online information handled through service providers such as Supabase may be stored or processed in a country different from the country in which you live.

Such processing is subject to the relevant service provider's safeguards, contractual arrangements and applicable law.

13. Privacy Policy Website

This Privacy Policy webpage does not intentionally use advertising or analytics services.

The webpage may store your selected policy language locally in your browser so that the same language can be restored on your next visit.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated when Dust Off's features, third-party integrations, data practices or legal requirements change.

When the policy is updated, the "Last Updated" date on this page will also be updated.
